New Zealand 1986-87

This set of slides covers the two years I spent working in Auckland, from January 1986 to January 1988 inclusive.

I started a diary for the trip but my effort lacked stamina and I soon gave up. It adds nothing to the slides so I have placed it elsewhere.

This page features scenic views of Auckland from various vantage points, plus more mundane sights that caught my eye. Other pages are dedicated to patricular themes as follows :—

The steam tug, William C Daldy was built in 1937 by Lobnitz & Co., Renfrew, for the Auckland Harbour Board and made the journey out under her own steam. She is named after one of Auckland's founding fathers.
